Daan Peeters (°1999) lives and works in Antwerp. “Inside my kingdom lies a forest where the trees are high and stuffed with strange shapes. This forest doesn’t make me feel at home. I have trouble seeing the creatures, they hide high up in the tree branches. I used to like climbing up those branches and make friends up there, but now I’m afraid of heights. Maybe that will change again, I say to myself. I will wait alone at the bottom, waiting until the rain is sweet again.”
