Photographer based in Antwerp, Belgium. MFA graduate of 2022 from the Photography department of Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp.
My work revolves around documentation of architecture, using darkroom techniques and seeking for experimental ways of handling older image materials. I am interested in the historical aspect of photography and how physical photographs were treated in the past. In my artistic practice I experiment with multiple analog and digital techniques in order to manipulate the images in a way that they lose track of time. My goal is to disorient the viewer, but also to physically activate him/her/them with different forms of presentations. I achieve this with printing photos on unique materials such as Aluminum plates or experimenting with unusual formats and sizes.
